From 3 October 2025 to 2 October 2026, organ music from centuries past will be performed every Friday at the Museum Nikolaikirche by a varying cast of organists, the majority of whom will be women.

##### Please note:

We can only provide a limited number of seats for concerts at the museum. Your ticket entitles you to attend the concert, but does not guarantee you a seat. We apologize for any inconvenience.

### 27 February 2026 | Jack Day (organ) &amp; Moss Beynon Juckes (violin, performance)

Born in Australia and raised in the United Kingdom, Moss Beynon Juckes is a multidisciplinary dance artist, composer and somatic practitioner based in Berlin. The versatile Berlin church musician and concert organist Jack Day combines church music with creative impulses from opera, dance and jazz. He has been cantor at the Luisenkirche in Charlottenburg since 2017. This afternoon’s programme will include works by Elizabeth Jacquet de la Guerre.

### 6 March 2026 | Wanying Lin

The Chinese concert organist, choir director and lecturer at the Berlin University of the Arts studied concert organ and church music at the Stuttgart University of Music and Performing Arts and at the Berlin University of the Arts. She furthered her training in Toulouse. This afternoon, she will be playing works by Elizabeth Jacquet de la Guerre, among others.

### 13 March 2026 | Wanying Lin

The Chinese concert organist, choir director and lecturer at the Berlin University of the Arts studied concert organ and church music at the Stuttgart University of Music and Performing Arts and at the Berlin University of the Arts. She furthered her training in Toulouse. This afternoon, she will be playing works by Elizabeth Jacquet de la Guerre, among others.

### 20 March 2026 | Wanying Lin

The Chinese concert organist, choir director and lecturer at the Berlin University of the Arts studied concert organ and church music at the Stuttgart University of Music and Performing Arts and at the Berlin University of the Arts. She furthered her training in Toulouse. This afternoon, she will be playing works by Elizabeth Jacquet de la Guerre, among others.

### 27 March 2026 | Jack Day (organ) &amp; Lea Rahel Bader (cello)

The versatile musician Lea Rahel Bader regularly performs on the modern cello, baroque cello and viola da gamba. She teaches baroque cello and basso continuo practice for low strings at the Berlin University of the Arts. The versatile Berlin church musician and concert organist Jack Day combines church music with creative impulses from opera, dance and jazz. He has been cantor at the Luisenkirche in Charlottenburg since 2017. This afternoon’s programme will include works by Elizabeth Jacquet de la Guerre.

### 3 April 2026 | Mio Kuriyama

Mio Kuriyama began playing the organ at the age of 15 at a girls’ school. She then studied at Tokyo University of the Arts. During her studies, she won numerous prizes and was nominated for the Japanese Organists’ Association’s graduate concert. In 2023, she performed as a soloist with the Geidai Philharmonia Orchestra Tokyo. She won second prize at the 2023 International Orava Organ Competition and the audience prize at the 2024 Toulouse Organ Competition. She is currently studying in Leipzig with Prof. Schmeding and Nicolas Berndt. This afternoon’s programme will include works by Élisabeth Jacquet and Anna Bon, among others.

### 17 April 2026 | Mio Kuriyama

Mio Kuriyama began playing the organ at the age of 15 at a girls’ school. She then studied at Tokyo University of the Arts. During her studies, she won numerous prizes and was nominated for the Japanese Organists’ Association’s graduate concert. In 2023, she performed as a soloist with the Geidai Philharmonia Orchestra Tokyo. She won second prize at the 2023 International Orava Organ Competition and the audience prize at the 2024 Toulouse Organ Competition. ### 24 April 2026 | Jack Day (organ) &amp; Kristina Griep (mezzo-soprano)

Kristina Griep (1st alto) comes from Bremerhaven. She studied singing and school music in Lübeck. She gained her first stage experience at the Junge Oper Lübeck and the Theater Lübeck. After completing her studies, she joined the opera choir of the Bühnen Münster, where she also performed as a soloist. She has been a member of the opera choir at the Deutsche Oper Berlin since 2000/01. During a stay in Thailand, she taught music and promoted German song. She has been back at the Deutsche Oper Berlin since 2015/16 and can also be heard as a soloist in various productions. The versatile Berlin church musician and concert organist Jack Day combines church music with creative impulses from opera, dance and jazz. He has been cantor at the Luisenkirche in Charlottenburg since 2017. Works by Anna Bonn, among others, will be performed this afternoon.

### 1 May 2026 | Kirstin Gramlich

Kirstin Gramlich studied church music in Cologne. She completed a master’s degree in organ with distinction in The Hague. Since 2013, she has been cantor and organist at the Lebuinus Church in Deventer. There she conducts several choirs and founded the vocal ensemble ‘Uriel Consort’. She performs throughout Europe and is particularly committed to the music of Johann Sebastian Bach, Max Reger and contemporary works, as well as to promoting young talent. In 2009, she was nominated for the Sweelinck-Mueller Prize, an award in the field of organ music. This afternoon, works by Anna Bon will be performed.

### 8 May 2026 | Shiye Guo

Shiye Guo (Guo Shiye) was born in China. She began playing the piano at the age of four. Since 2018, she has been studying organ at the Shanghai Conservatory of Music Middle School, where she was taught by Wu Dan, Zhang Qi and Hu Jinlei. These women shaped her musical development. Guo has won prizes at several international competitions, including the Steinway Festival and the Sibelius Festival. In 2024, she was accepted to study organ at the Felix Mendelssohn Bartholdy University of Music and Theatre in Leipzig. This afternoon’s programme will include works by Anna Bonn, among others.

### 15 May 2026 | Sander van den Houten

The Dutch organist works at the Evangelical Lutheran Church in The Hague, where he plays the historic Bätz organ from 1762. In Kampen, he is also titular organist at the Burgwal Church and the Broederkerk. This afternoon, he will play works by Anna Bon, among others.

### 22 May 2026 | Shiye Guo

Shiye Guo (Guo Shiye) was born in China and began playing the piano at the age of four. Since 2018, she has been studying organ at the Shanghai Conservatory of Music Middle School, where she has been taught by three inspiring teachers – Wu Dan, Zhang Qi and Hu Jinlei. These influential women have played a central role in her musical development. Guo has won prizes at several international competitions, including Steinway and Sibelius Festival. In 2024, she was accepted to study organ at the Felix Mendelssohn Bartholdy University of Music and Theatre in Leipzig. This afternoon’s programme will include works by Anna Bonn, among others.
