Located at two stations in the museum, high-quality 3D models allow visitors to explore the Nikolaikirche’s interior and exterior architecture and reveal the connection between aesthetics and functionality in the individual architectural elements. Audio commentary provides historical context and orientation for the blind and sighted alike. The project was initiated by students of the part-time master’s degree programme European Cultural Heritage at the European University Viadrina Frankfurt (Oder), who also saw it through to its completion.
