During the National Socialist regime and after World War II, she uncompromisingly pursued new paths. Bathed in natural light from the large studio window, they were a popular destination for her circle of friends and other artists. The special atmosphere of the place prompted some of her close friends to preserve the studio as close to its original state as possible after Jeanne Mammen\u2019s death.
